Established in 1953, East Olympia Fire District 6 is an essential part of the East Olympia, Washington community. We’re here to keep everyone safe in our area, which includes about 13,000 people spread over 30 square miles.
Our main goal is to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, like fires or medical crises, to protect people and their belongings. We have a team of 16 highly trained firefighters and medical technicians who are always learning to stay on top of their game.
But it’s not just about reacting to emergencies. We’re also big on preventing them in the first place. We run educational programs, hold events, and work with local groups to teach people about fire safety and how to be ready for emergencies. We want to build a strong community that can support each other when things get tough.
